Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you (the salon or nail technician using Nailbook) and Igor Kałużny, trading as Nailbook, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

Nailbook gives you a public booking page for your clients, a client book that records appointments and client details, re-booking reminders, and related tools. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You must give accurate registration details, keep your password secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be a business or sole trader using Nailbook for your work, not a consumer using it personally.

3. Free trial, plans and payment

  • New accounts start with a 14-day free trial with full features. No charge is taken during the trial and you can cancel before it ends.
  • After the trial, paid plans are Client Book (£9/month or £90/year) and Complete (£15/month or £150/year). Prices may change on notice.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can change or cancel your plan at any time through the billing portal in the app.

4. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee: if you cancel within 7 days of your first payment, contact us and we will refund that payment. After that, cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.

5. Your clients' data

The personal data you enter about your own clients remains yours. For that data you are the data controller and Nailbook is your processor; our handling of it is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold your clients' data and for giving your clients your own privacy information.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nailbook for anything unlawful, not to send your clients unsolicited or unlawful messages, not to attempt to break or misuse the service, and not to upload content you do not have the right to use.

7. Availability

We work to keep Nailbook available and to protect your data, but the service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. We keep regular backups.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit or data.

9. Suspension and termination

You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end your account if you materially breach these terms. When your account ends you can export your data for a reasonable period, after which it is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy and DPA.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Nailbook after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
