Nail memory: every set, shade and photo, remembered

Everything about a client's nails, remembered for you: their sets, shades, photos and what they pay, so you know what to do before they sit down.

The problem

Most nail techs keep a client record card of some kind: a paper card in a drawer, a note on the phone, a camera roll full of finished sets with no names on them. When a regular books an infill, you scroll for last time's photo, guess the shade from memory and count back through your diary to work out how old their set is.

What nail memory keeps for every client

  • Sets: when each set went on, every infill and repair since, and how long this client's sets usually last.
  • Shades and products: what you used at each visit, with the shades the client loves and the ones to avoid.
  • Photos: before, after and inspiration photos, on the client's page and on each visit.
  • Quotes and timing: a price estimate on each appointment and a session timer, so you know what you quoted and how long it really took.
  • Insights: how long sets last across your salon, revenue by service, what you earn per hour and your quotes against what you charged.

How sets fill themselves in

  • You tell each service once what it does to a set: a full set starts a new one, an infill carries it on, a pedicure leaves it alone. A new salon's services come set up already, and you can change any of them.
  • Every visit that counts toward a set joins the right one by its date, so history you add later lands in the right place too.
  • A new set ends the one before it, so every set gets its real length.
  • When a set reaches its usual life, measured by the client's own past sets or your salon's average, the client's page says Fresh set due, and unless they are already booked in, the client appears on your Reminders list.

An example

An acrylic client is booked in for an infill. Before they sit down, their page shows a set 19 days old that usually lasts around 35 days, the shade they loved last time and photos of the finished nails. You know what to mix and what to quote, and about two weeks later, when the set reaches its usual life, the client shows up on your Reminders list as Fresh set due.

Your record, not theirs

Nail memory is the salon's own record: clients never see it, and your booking page shows none of it. Nothing goes out on its own either. WhatsApp opens with a message ready and you send it yourself; an email goes only if you have switched on the automatic invite to come back.
